Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of its 30th property in Maharashtra, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion across high-growth urban markets. The new Lemon Tree Hotel, Ahilyanagar, will feature 95 rooms along with modern hospitality amenities, strengthening the brand’s presence in the state.
The upcoming property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. It is strategically located in Ahilyanagar, an emerging hub for corporate and defence travel while also serving as a transit point for visitors to nearby pilgrimage destinations such as Shirdi and Shani Shingnapur.
Designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers, the hotel will offer a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre. The combination of accommodation and modern amenities aims to provide a seamless and premium experience for guests on both work and spiritual journeys.
“Reaching the 30-property milestone in Maharashtra is a significant achievement for us,” said Vishvapreet Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd. “Ahilyanagar represents a high-potential regional hub that bridges industrial growth and spiritual tourism. Our goal is to bring a new standard of branded hospitality to this route, ensuring a refreshingly different experience for every guest.”
Lemon Tree Hotels currently operates 15 hotels in Maharashtra, with another 15 in the development pipeline. This latest signing reflects the company’s strategy to expand its footprint across key economic and travel corridors in India, catering to the growing demand for branded hospitality in regional markets.
The company has been steadily increasing its presence across urban and semi-urban locations, targeting areas with strong business activity, transit travel, and tourism potential. The Ahilyanagar property is expected to play a key role in supporting both corporate clients and spiritual tourism traffic, creating a versatile and sustainable hospitality offering.
