JetBlue Airways will resume service to Columbus, Ohio, with nonstop flights between John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport starting November 3, 2026.
The route provides a direct connection to South Florida and offers passengers easier access to international destinations.
Through Fort Lauderdale, travelers can reach popular destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America, including Cancun, San Juan, Nassau, and South American cities such as Cali and Cartagena. The route is expected to expand travel options for both leisure and business passengers.
“JetBlue’s return to Columbus this November with nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale ensures seamless access to a critical gateway for international travel,” said Daren Griffin, President and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. “We look forward to seeing JetBlue back at CMH as we continue to grow our flight offerings to meet the demand of our travelers.”
This marks JetBlue’s first operation out of Columbus since 2008. The airline aims to provide affordable fares and more convenient travel options for Central Ohio residents, particularly those traveling to Florida or connecting to other international destinations.
The first inbound flight from Fort Lauderdale is scheduled to arrive on November 2, a day before the official launch. JetBlue’s return is expected to enhance CMH’s connectivity while supporting regional tourism and business travel.
By reestablishing this route, JetBlue strengthens its network in the Midwest and offers passengers additional choices for both domestic and international travel. The airline anticipates strong demand given Columbus residents’ interest in Florida and beyond.
