Lexus is rolling out major changes for the 2026 ES, its mid-size luxury sedan, with a complete redesign both inside and out. The updated lineup now includes a hybrid model and an all-electric variant, reflecting the brand’s push toward electrification. Pricing for the new ES range has been released, revealing some notable adjustments.
The ES350h hybrid, essentially replacing last year’s ES300h and the discontinued gas-only ES250 and ES350 models, starts at $50,995. This represents a $6,280 increase over the previous model, likely due to the larger body and added standard features.
Lexus has not yet detailed the full contents of the base Premium trim or the upgrades included in the ES350h Premium+, which begins at $55,795. A new all-wheel-drive option is available for both trims at an additional $1,400. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive ES350h models produce 243 horsepower.
On the electric side, the ES350e emerges as the most affordable option in the lineup. Starting at $48,795, it comes with front-wheel drive, 220 horsepower, and an estimated 300-mile range. The ES350e is offered in both Premium and Luxury trims, with the latter priced at $57,195.
For all-wheel drive, buyers can opt for the higher-performance ES500e, starting at $51,795 for the Premium trim and $60,195 for the Luxury. This model features dual motors delivering 338 horsepower, although its estimated driving range drops to 250 miles.
Lexus has not yet announced exact availability for the 2026 ES models. Media test drives for both the hybrid and electric variants are scheduled for May, offering a closer look at the performance and features of the new lineup.
