Independent hotel operator Trilogy Hotels has announced major new management agreements in Sydney and Adelaide, partnering with Marriott International and developer Deicorp. The deals include a 100-key Courtyard by Marriott in Sydney’s Crows Nest and a 251-room Hilton in Adelaide East End, reflecting Trilogy’s rapid growth since its founding in late 2023.
The Courtyard by Marriott Sydney Crows Nest will be part of Deicorp’s $640 million Falcon & Alexander mixed-use development, which also includes 212 apartments. Occupying the first three levels of the project, the hotel is expected to open in late 2027. Its location next to the new Crows Nest Metro station will provide direct access to Sydney CBD and the broader transport network.
Tristan Cooper, director of hotel development for Marriott International across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific, said the agreement is a “significant milestone” for the brand in Sydney. “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with Deicorp and Trilogy Hotels within the impressive Falcon & Alexander precinct. The hotel will generate strong demand and contribute to precinct activation,” Cooper added.
The Crows Nest property marks Trilogy Hotels’ second collaboration with Deicorp and Marriott, following the upcoming AC by Marriott at Hyde Metropolitan development on Liverpool Street. Trilogy CEO Scott Boyes emphasized the strategic value of the North Shore location. “This hotel will deliver for our owners, create opportunities for our teams, and provide experiences for guests in one of Sydney’s most dynamic emerging precincts,” Boyes said.
Deicorp founder Fouad Deiri highlighted the alignment between the Courtyard brand and Crows Nest. “Crows Nest attracts people who value connectivity, great food, and a strong village atmosphere. The brand is design-led, efficient, and deeply connected to place, adding activity and amenity to the precinct,” Deiri stated.
Meanwhile, Trilogy’s Hilton Adelaide East End will occupy Auriga Investment Group’s $299 million Arcadia mixed-use tower at 299 Pirie Street. Scheduled to open in 2031, the property marks Hilton’s return to Adelaide after exiting its Victoria Square location, which is being redeveloped into an Amora Adelaide Hotel following a $73 million renovation.
Trilogy Hotels now manages a portfolio exceeding 3,600 rooms across 21 properties, underlining its ambitious expansion strategy in Australia’s premium hospitality market.
