Cadillac has confirmed April 22 as the official launch date for its all-new VISTIQ, a full-size electric flagship SUV that expands its growing EV lineup. The model becomes the third domestically produced electric SUV under SAIC-GM Cadillac, positioned between the Lyriq and the Escalade IQ.
Built on General Motors’ Ultium platform, the VISTIQ adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout and enters the large SUV segment with substantial dimensions. It measures 5,222 mm in length, 2,026 mm in width, and 1,799 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,094 mm. The SUV also features a maximum approach angle of 19 degrees and 193 mm of ground clearance, supporting light off-road capability. Rear-axle steering has been integrated to improve maneuverability and reduce the turning radius in confined urban environments.
Powertrain specifications, based on regulatory filings, show multiple configurations. The single-motor version delivers 255 kW, while the dual-motor setup combines a 183 kW front motor with a 260 kW rear motor for a total output of 443 kW. In its most powerful configuration, the VISTIQ is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under four seconds.
The vehicle is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack offering three CLTC-rated range options: 573 km, 601 km, and 642 km. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to recover approximately 127 km of range in just 10 minutes using DC charging.
On the technology front, the VISTIQ introduces an industry-first hidden in-cabin LiDAR system, mounted along the upper inner edge of the front windshield. This design eliminates the need for a roof-mounted sensor housing while also reducing exposure to rain, snow, and dust interference.
For driver assistance, the SUV is the first Cadillac model to integrate Momenta’s intelligent driving system, enabling L2++ advanced driver assistance and navigation-assisted driving capabilities.
