SelectDrive has officially opened a new pre-owned car dealership located at 1078 State Route 531 in Minden. The dealership held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the launch, welcoming customers to explore a wide range of second hand cars. SelectDrive offers various used vehicles, including everyday models and luxury options, all priced competitively to attract buyers looking for quality and value.
The dealership emphasizes excellent customer service and convenience, providing an online showroom where potential buyers can view detailed information about each vehicle, including photos and contact details. This allows customers to browse available cars from home before visiting the dealership in person. SelectDrive’s business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM, making it accessible for most schedules.
The Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed SelectDrive during the opening event. Mayor Nick Cox spoke at the ceremony, expressing pride in having the new business join the community. Owner Jared Miller shared his personal reasons for choosing Minden as the location for his dealership. He explained that despite having opportunities to open elsewhere, he selected his hometown because of its strong community spirit and familiar surroundings.
Miller said, “These roads, these people, the Friday night lights at the pit — this is where I came from. This community raised me and shaped me, and I just want to be here to give back and help out in any way I can.” His commitment to supporting the local area highlights SelectDrive’s goal of being more than just a car dealer but a part of Minden’s community fabric.
To engage with residents further, SelectDrive will host a community event starting April 11 called the “Forgotten Egg Easter Hunt.” This event features four hidden eggs worth $100 each. Winners will keep their prize money while SelectDrive makes a matching donation in their name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
