Kia has launched the updated Kia Carens Clavis 2026 in India, targeting families looking for a premium multi-purpose vehicle at a more accessible price. The new model has already attracted attention in the mid-size MPV segment due to its upgraded features and competitive pricing.

The latest version introduces two new variants, GT-Line and X-Line, expanding the model’s appeal to a wider audience. With prices starting at ₹19.80 lakh, Kia aims to make high-end features more attainable for middle-class buyers. The company is positioning the vehicle as a blend of luxury, safety, and affordability.

One of the key highlights of the 2026 model is the wider availability of advanced safety technology. Features such as the Advanced Driver Assistance System are now offered in more affordable trims. The HTX O A variant, priced at ₹19.85 lakh, includes this system, improving safety for long-distance and highway driving.

Kia has also enhanced comfort and convenience features across the lineup. The HTK Plus variant now offers an electric sunroof option, which was previously limited to higher trims. Meanwhile, the HTK Plus O variant adds a panoramic sunroof, a built-in dashcam, and upgraded LED headlights designed to improve visibility at night.

The newly introduced GT-Line and X-Line variants bring distinct styling and seating upgrades. Both are available in a six-seat configuration with captain seats in the second row, offering improved comfort for passengers. The GT-Line features sporty design elements such as redesigned alloy wheels, a new front bumper, and unique accents that give it a more aggressive appearance.

In contrast, the X-Line variant focuses on a darker and more refined look. It comes in exclusive color options such as Dark Gun Metal and Aurora Black Pearl. Additional design elements, including gloss black exterior details and roof rails, contribute to its bold road presence.

Under the hood, Kia continues to offer multiple engine options to suit different driving needs. Buyers can choose from a 1.5-liter petrol engine for daily use, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine delivering 160bhp for higher performance, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine known for fuel efficiency and torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, providing flexibility for a range of driving preferences.

With these updates, Kia is strengthening its position in the competitive MPV market. The Carens Clavis 2026 combines practical design, improved safety, and premium features, making it a strong option for families seeking value without compromising on comfort or technology.
