Metastatic disease management incorporates systemic chemotherapy, targeted agents (bevacizumab), and immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) to prolong survival and maintain quality of life. Treatment selection considers disease stage, histological features, and patient preferences regarding fertility preservation.

​Emphasizing Prevention Through Vaccination and Lifestyle​

Primary prevention focuses on HPV vaccination, with nonavalent vaccine (Gardasil-9) protecting against high-risk HPV types 16/18/31/33/45/52/58 and low-risk types 6/11. Vaccination effectiveness remains high when administered prior to HPV exposure, currently recommended for both sexes through age 45.

Secondary prevention through regular screening detects precancerous changes while still amenable to simple interventions. Lifestyle modifications including smoking cessation and barrier contraception use further reduce risk. Survivorship care involves long-term monitoring for recurrence and secondary malignancies, with attention to potential late effects of treatment.
