Cadillac has confirmed that its all-new VISTIQ electric SUV will make its official debut on April 22, representing a key addition to the brand’s expanding electric vehicle lineup. The full-size SUV will become the third locally produced EV under the SAIC-GM Cadillac joint venture, positioned between the Lyriq and the flagship Escalade IQ.
Built on General Motors’ Ultium platform, the VISTIQ targets the large SUV segment with an emphasis on interior space and flexibility. The model adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout and features substantial dimensions, measuring 5,222 mm in length, 2,026 mm in width, and 1,799 mm in height, with a 3,094 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance stands at 193 mm, complemented by a 19-degree approach angle that allows for light off-road use. Rear-wheel steering is also included, improving maneuverability and reducing the turning radius in tight urban environments.
Powertrain options will include both single- and dual-motor configurations, according to regulatory filings. The single-motor variant delivers 255 kW, while the dual-motor setup combines a 183 kW front motor with a 260 kW rear motor for a total output of 443 kW. In its highest-performance version, the VISTIQ is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under four seconds.
The SUV is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack, offering CLTC-rated driving ranges of 573 km, 601 km, and 642 km depending on configuration. Fast-charging capability allows the vehicle to recover approximately 127 km of range in just 10 minutes using DC fast charging.
On the technology front, Cadillac is introducing a concealed LiDAR system integrated along the upper interior edge of the front windshield. This design eliminates the need for external roof-mounted sensors while helping to reduce interference from environmental conditions such as rain, snow, and dust.
The VISTIQ also debuts Momenta’s intelligent driving system in a Cadillac model, enabling L2++ advanced driver assistance features along with navigation-assisted driving functions. The addition underscores Cadillac’s ongoing efforts to enhance its autonomous driving capabilities as it accelerates its transition to electrification.
