Hyundai is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with two exciting new models set to make waves in 2026: the high-performance Ioniq 6 N electric sedan and the upcoming Ioniq 3 electric hot hatch. Both vehicles showcase Hyundai’s commitment to blending advanced electric powertrains with dynamic driving experiences and innovative design.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is a powerful electric sedan that matches the performance of its sibling, the Ioniq 5 N SUV, but offers a sleeker, lower body style. With an all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup producing up to 478 kW of power and 770 Nm of torque, the Ioniq 6 N accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Its driving range is rated at 469 km under normal conditions, slightly less than the standard Ioniq 6 model due to performance tuning and aerodynamic features like a swan-neck rear wing and widened wheel arches.
Inside, the Ioniq 6 N features a driver-focused cockpit with two large 12.3-inch digital displays for instrumentation and infotainment. The multifunction steering wheel offers easy access to drive modes and an ‘N Grin Boost’ button that temporarily unleashes maximum power. The Ioniq 3 is expected to come with battery options similar to those found in Kia’s EV models—ranging from around 58 kWh to over 81 kWh—offering an estimated range up to approximately 630 km under WLTP standards.
