The new location, called CIT Trucks Burns Harbor, is situated at 1169 Lions Drive in Burns Harbor, Indiana. This center is designed to serve professional drivers and fleet operators in the Northwest Indiana region as well as those passing through the area.
The Burns Harbor facility offers a comprehensive range of services including sales of new Class 5-8 vehicles and premium used trucks. Customers can also access financial services through Paccar Financial, truck rental and leasing options, and a 25-bay service department fully equipped for maintenance and repairs. Additionally, the site features a well-stocked parts department and a comfortable lounge area for drivers.
Carl Herzog, President of CIT Trucks, expressed enthusiasm about the new location, emphasizing the company’s commitment to expanding its network and improving customer support. He highlighted that establishing a physical presence in Northwest Indiana will enhance accessibility for customers in the region.
According to data from RigDig, there are over 23,000 trucking prospects within a 50-mile radius of Burns Harbor operating more than 97,000 verified vehicles and 64,000 trailers. This sizable market presents a strong opportunity for CIT Trucks to meet growing demand with its expanded offerings.
