Cheez-It fans who avoid gluten will finally have something to celebrate. The popular snack brand announced it will release a gluten-free version of its original cheesy crackers in 2026.
The company confirmed the news in a statement this week, saying the new snack will be available in stores sometime next year.
“We’re still baking… so stay tuned on Cheez-It social channels for more information on availability. We’re excited to bring this to fans!” the announcement read.
Cheez-It said the gluten-free version comes after years of requests from loyal customers who couldn’t enjoy the classic snack due to dietary restrictions.
“We’ve been hard at work to make sure we had the best recipe and process to bring the same iconic, cheesy, crunchy, salty, delicious flavor Cheez-It fans crave to those who have missed us,” the company shared.
The official announcement also appeared on Cheez-It’s Instagram page, where the brand teased the launch date using the caption, “XX/XX/2026,” hinting at the upcoming debut.
“It’s happening!!!! Cheez-It Original Gluten Free Crackers coming 2026,” the post read.
