Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles has opened up about undergoing three cosmetic surgery procedures, candidly addressing speculation about her changing appearance in a recent TikTok video.
The 28-year-old seven-time Olympic gold medalist shared a series of “fun facts” about herself with followers, during which she acknowledged having had plastic surgery. “I’ve had three plastic surgeries, and two of them you would never be able to tell,” Biles said, inviting fans to guess what they might be.
Her comments quickly prompted a flood of responses. When one follower posted a cherry emoji—widely interpreted as a reference to breast implants—Biles replied with a thumbs-up, seemingly confirming that she had a breast enhancement. The gymnast, who is married to Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, had already sparked speculation earlier this summer after posting bikini photos from a vacation and later sharing a video of herself jumping on a trampoline at her Texas home with the caption “new (cherry emojis).”
In the same TikTok exchange, Biles confirmed the other two procedures. She revealed that she had a lower blepharoplasty, a cosmetic surgery to address sagging or puffiness under the eyes. The third procedure, she explained, involved repairing her earlobe after an earring was ripped out when she was younger.
Biles has previously been open about trying Botox injections, though she said she discontinued them after being unhappy with the results. In an August 2024 TikTok video, she explained that she received “baby Botox” in her T-zone for her 27th birthday but disliked how it affected her facial expressions. “I didn’t like how I couldn’t control my eyebrows,” she said, recalling how her teammates would notice one eyebrow slowly rising during practice.
Despite the personal revelations, Biles remains firmly in the spotlight for her athletic achievements. She dominated the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning gold medals in the team, all-around and vault events.
Looking ahead, Biles has not ruled out another Olympic appearance. Speaking at the Ready25 conference in Australia in August, she was asked whether she would consider competing at the 2028 Los Angeles Games. “Never say never,” she replied, leaving the door open to a potential return.
