Hollywood plastic surgeon and reality TV star Dr. Terry Dubrow is facing a new lawsuit from a former patient who claims she suffered severe complications following a breast augmentation procedure.
Dubrow, best known for the shows Botched and The Real Housewives of Orange County, has long treated high-profile clients including Lindsay Lohan, George Clooney, and Kim Zolciak. Despite his celebrity clientele, the surgeon has previously faced legal scrutiny.
According to reports, the unnamed plaintiff alleges that Dubrow used “non-FDA approved mesh material” during her 2014 breast augmentation, resulting in a hematoma in her right breast that required two additional corrective surgeries. The lawsuit also claims she experienced financial losses due to her inability to work and seeks reimbursement for both past medical expenses and potential future corrective procedures.
Dubrow responded to the lawsuit by telling TMZ that the claims, which date back 12 years, are “a complete fantasy” and predicted the case would be dismissed quickly. He also hinted at a potential counterclaim for “malicious prosecution.”
This is not the first time Dubrow has faced legal challenges. In 2022, he discussed rumors of a previous “botched boob job” lawsuit involving a mutual friend and clarified that the case had been dropped years earlier.
Outside of his legal matters, Dubrow has weighed in on celebrity topics in recent interviews, including actor Bradley Cooper’s youthful appearance and the popularity of the weight-loss drug Ozempic in Hollywood. He emphasized that personal procedures and transformations are private matters and should not overshadow an individual’s professional accomplishments.
