Former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has revealed that she recently underwent a “Mommy Makeover,” sharing the personal transformation just days before celebrating her 34th birthday.
Evans, 33, announced the news in a candid Instagram post on Thursday, December 18, posting before-and-after photos and telling followers she had been keeping the procedure private. “I’ve been keeping a little secret,” she wrote. “It feels so good to finally share this with you guys!”
The 16 & Pregnant alum, who is a mother of three, explained that the makeover included replacing her breast implants and undergoing a tummy tuck to repair abdominal muscles affected by pregnancy. Evans shares son Jace with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis, son Kaiser with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, and daughter Ensley with ex-husband David Eason.
Reflecting on her decision, Evans said her body still needed medical intervention despite years of exercise and healthy eating. After three pregnancies, she experienced diastasis recti — a common condition where abdominal muscles separate after childbirth. “No amount of exercise fixes this,” she explained, noting that the procedure helped address what many mothers refer to as a “mom pouch.”
Evans also opened up about the emotional side of her choice, revealing she has faced public scrutiny over her appearance since her teenage years. She said the makeover was a personal decision aimed at reclaiming confidence rather than seeking validation. “Choosing this was about feeling like myself again and not explaining it to anyone else,” she wrote.
According to Evans, the results have already had a positive impact on her self-image. She shared that she feels more confident in her body and is embracing this next stage of her life with optimism.
As she prepares to celebrate her birthday, Evans said she is entering the new year with a renewed sense of self-acceptance. “I can honestly say I’m proud to welcome a new year loving the skin I’m in,” she added, calling the moment the start of an exciting new chapter.
