The Franklin Rod & Gun Club will hold its annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 6th, at Uncas Pond, located at 53 Florence Street in Franklin, Massachusetts.
The event runs from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and welcomes anglers of all ages.
Entry donations are $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 12 and under. Participants will have the chance to compete for trophies in the youth division for those 16 and under, while adult anglers can win cash prizes.
In addition to the competition, the derby features raffles and a variety of food options. An all-you-can-eat breakfast is available for $5, and free pizza will be provided for lunch.
Attendees can also take advantage of complimentary fishing gear, including rods, bait, and other equipment, making the event accessible for beginners and families.
