Comedienne Park Sae-mi Addresses Plastic Surgery Rumors, Explains Her Latest Nose Revision

Comedienne Park Sae-mi has addressed recent rumors suggesting she is addicted to plastic surgery, clarifying that her latest procedure was medically necessary rather than purely cosmetic.

On January 25, the YouTube channel “Seonguk Im” released a video titled “A Date with a Comedienne Who Even Feeds You [Monthly Comedienne Date No. 3],” in which Park discussed her recent nose surgery. When host Seonguk Im mentioned, “Our Sae-mi got her nose done again,” she responded by saying the situation had been misunderstood.

“I’ve been hearing people say, ‘Isn’t she addicted to plastic surgery?’ but you really have to be cautious about these procedures,” Park said. She explained that it had been 15 years since her first nose surgery, and over time, her nose had shortened and started to turn upward due to a contraction phenomenon.

She emphasized that her most recent procedure was necessary to address these side effects, rather than for aesthetic purposes alone.

Park humorously demonstrated how her nostrils were more visible before the revision surgery and shared a playful superstition. “I was definitely making money, but I kept thinking, ‘Where did all my money go?’ It was because of my nose. If your nostrils show, money leaks out. So I blocked them like this to hold on tightly to my money,” she joked.

Earlier on her own YouTube channel, Park revealed details of the procedure. “Last time, they used cartilage from my ear, but this time they used my rib,” she said, adding with a laugh, “This part of my nose is my rib,” eliciting laughter from viewers.
