Bridget Bahl Nears End of Breast Cancer Treatments, Rings Bell in Emotional Milestone Moment

by Shreeya

Fashion and lifestyle influencer Bridget Bahl is marking a powerful moment in her ongoing breast cancer journey. Over a year after her diagnosis, the 42-year-old shared an emotional video on Instagram of herself ringing the hospital bell alongside her husband, Michael Chiodo, and her medical team. “It’s a bad day to be cancer,” Bahl wrote in text overlaying the Reel, posted Tuesday, Jan. 20.

In the post’s caption, Bahl revealed she has “only 2 treatments left to go” and reflected on how her faith helped her navigate surgery and chemotherapy.

“There is no version of me that leaves this season the same. I take this next step. Marked. Humbled. Scared. Scarred. Grateful,” she wrote. “This past year has made me painfully aware of how fragile life really is. How precious each day is. How sacred it is to still be here. How little most of the things I once focused on actually matter. And the hard truth that not everyone gets this moment. Not everyone gets to ring the bell. And the weight of how unfair that feels.”

Bahl first shared her diagnosis with her 1.8 million Instagram followers in September 2024, explaining that her cancer was discovered during her sixth IVF egg retrieval.

Throughout her treatment, she has kept fans updated on milestones, including a breast lymph node surgery in August 2025 and completing a 15-day radiation course last October. “We f—— did it,” she said in a video following radiation, noting the challenge of the experience.

In her latest post, Bahl expressed gratitude for the support she has received. “Every prayer, every message, every moment of love carried me through the hardest season of my life. You gave me hope on the darkest days,” she wrote. “And somehow, some way, I will get to pay that forward.”

Bahl’s journey has resonated with her followers, highlighting the emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges faced by those navigating cancer treatment while remaining a source of inspiration and community support.
