Amid a growing trend of celebrities undergoing cosmetic enhancements, lekompo DJ and media personality Dolly Ditebogo has clarified that her recent medical trip to Türkiye was driven by health concerns rather than aesthetics.
In a candid post shared on Instagram, Ditebogo revealed that she underwent reduction mammoplasty, commonly known as breast reduction surgery, to address chronic physical discomfort. The DJ explained that her large breasts had been causing persistent back and neck pain, significantly affecting her daily life.
“They were so heavy and very uncomfortable,” she wrote, adding that she had struggled for years with pain, difficulty finding well-fitting clothes, and general discomfort.
Expressing satisfaction with the outcome, Ditebogo said she is relieved and pleased with her results. “I’m very happy with my results. I’ve been struggling with back pain and discomfort, difficulty finding fitting clothes, and the list goes on,” she shared.
The media personality also offered a lighthearted yet honest reflection on her previous condition, noting how severe the physical strain had become. “I wish you could see my old babies without a bra. They were literally next to my belly button,” she joked.
By speaking openly about her experience, Ditebogo aims to normalize conversations around medically necessary procedures and highlight that not all celebrity surgeries are cosmetic in nature.
