Social media influencer Indy Clinton has publicly expressed her gratitude to the surgeon behind her recent rhinoplasty revision, calling him the man who “changed her life.”
In an Instagram Stories post on Monday, the 28-year-old shared images of her updated nose, thanking Dr. George Marcells for his expertise. She described him as “the surgeon who changed my life in the best way possible. Forever grateful.”
Based in Bondi, Dr. Marcells is a highly respected ENT and head and neck surgeon with over 25 years of experience in facial plastic surgery. A former president of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, he is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading rhinoplasty specialists.
Indy underwent the second procedure after expressing disappointment with her initial nose job earlier this year, which left her facing breathing difficulties, swelling, and uneven nostrils. Sharing her experience on TikTok, she explained that the revision involved reconstructing her nose using cartilage from her rib to achieve better structure and functionality.
“I haven’t spoken about this on a deeper level, but now I’m getting it fixed, I feel like I can speak a bit easier,” Indy tearfully told her followers. “I can’t breathe through my nose anymore. It’s a four-hour surgery, and we have to get cartilage from my rib to support my nose again. I’m really hoping, praying, and wishing that I have an incredible outcome and I’m in safe hands.”
Fans have enthusiastically responded to Indy’s transformation. A ‘before and after’ video posted on TikTok drew praise from followers, with one commenting, “Wow, they’ve done such a good job! You look amazing,” while another called Dr. Marcells a “magician” for his work. Indy herself acknowledged her surgeon’s skill, stating, “That’s why he’s one of Australia’s top surgeons for noses (and facelifts).”
Though she has not disclosed the cost of the revision, similar procedures in Australia range from $18,000 to over $35,000. Despite the financial and emotional toll, Indy’s second rhinoplasty has left her visibly thrilled with the results, showcasing her new look to her growing online audience.
