Rhian Sugden is turning heads once again, this time for the results of her recent breast reduction surgery. The former Page 3 model, 39, shared a sizzling Instagram snap on Saturday, flaunting her slimmer figure in a white and red crop top reading “naughty but nice” and matching white string bikini bottoms tied in delicate side bows.
The star, who underwent surgery in June, reduced her cup size from 32HH to 32E. Alongside the post, she engaged her followers with a festive caption, asking, “What’s your fave Christmas film?”
Earlier this year, Sugden revealed that her decision for surgery was driven by chronic discomfort. Her breasts had made walking unbearable and caused persistent back pain. Sharing her journey on Instagram, she posted a series of topless photos showing her transformation from before the procedure, two weeks post-op, and several weeks later.
“From sagging to bragging,” she wrote. “These are the results from my breast reduction and uplift @pallmallcosmetics. No implants, all still natural. Just lifted and reduced. Four sizes smaller—I wanted them kept on the larger side. My scarring is fading beautifully too!”
Despite widespread support, Sugden admitted she faced backlash from some fans, who criticized her decision as a mistake. She reflected on the challenges of her fame, noting that some followers felt a sense of ownership over her body due to her career, which began as a Page 3 model in 2006 and included lucrative appearances such as a £100,000 stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2012.
Sugden also revealed that her husband of seven years, Oliver Mellor, was initially “gutted” by the surgery, though he now supports her relief from the ongoing back pain.
In a video nine weeks post-operation, she expressed delight with her results: “I’m absolutely in love with my boobs,” she said. Prior to the procedure, Sugden explained that the weight and size of her breasts made everyday activities, including swimming and finding suitable bras and swimwear, difficult.
“My cup size was 34GG, sometimes fitting into an H, and it made buying a decent bra nearly impossible. Swimming was even challenging because of my back arching under the weight,” she said. “This reduction is literally going to change my life.”
Sugden’s journey highlights both the physical and emotional impact of cosmetic surgery, showing her dedication to her health and comfort while sharing the transformation with her millions of followers.
