Jenelle Evans has unveiled the results of her recent mommy makeover, sharing details of her breast augmentation and tummy tuck surgery with fans. The former “Teen Mom 2” star announced the transformation on Thursday, highlighting her journey to restore her body after three pregnancies.
Evans, who originally underwent breast augmentation in 2012 while filming the reality show, opted to replace her old implants with 400cc silicone implants and repair abdominal muscle separation through a tummy tuck. She revealed that the procedure addressed diastasis recti, a common condition among mothers that exercise alone often cannot fix.
“I’ve had my body judged since I was a teenager, so choosing this was about feeling like myself again,” Evans wrote on Facebook. “Still healing, but I already feel confident, happy, and really excited about this new chapter! Tomorrow I celebrate my 34th birthday, and I can honestly say I’m proud to welcome a new year loving the skin I’m in.”
Photos of Evans’ surgery and post-procedure results were documented, including behind-the-scenes images taken in the operating room. She also plans to share the full surgery process on her YouTube channel. The procedure was performed by Dr. Rachel Mason at La Femme Plastic Surgery in Las Vegas, replacing Evans’ old implants and removing 4.8 pounds of excess skin for a sculpted waistline.
According to TMZ, Evans had already lost 15 pounds before surgery through a low-fat, low-carb diet and regular workouts. The reality star credited the mommy makeover with helping her achieve her desired results, stating that sometimes clean eating and exercise alone are not enough.
Evans, who flew in her friend and makeup artist Eve from New York to assist with recovery, is set to make her North Carolina court debut next month regarding custody proceedings with her ex-husband David Eason. She will also address a motion requiring Eason to explain his alleged contempt of their court-ordered divorce settlement.
