Motion Informatics develops and markets the Stimel-03, a US FDA-approved device that integrates Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), and Biofeedback systems.
The Stimel-03 device is designed to facilitate neuroplasticity and restore motor function in patients recovering from stroke by combining electrical stimulation with real-time biofeedback data. This integrated approach enables clinicians to monitor progress accurately and tailor rehabilitation programs to individual patient needs, significantly improving recovery outcomes.
Under the terms of the agreement, Biorad Medisys will not only hold a minority share in Motion Informatics but also obtain manufacturing and distribution rights for Stimel-03 across select markets, including India and the United States. This collaboration is expected to make advanced biofeedback-enabled rehabilitation technology more widely accessible in both emerging and established healthcare markets.
