The Doctor’s Office Unveils EXOMIND Brain Stimulation for Depression Treatment

by Shreeya

A non-invasive, groundbreaking treatment designed to boost mental well-being and emotional resilience is now available at The Doctor’s Office, a patient-centric primary care facility in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah.

This new offering—EXOMIND, an FDA-cleared technology—expands the practice’s services to address depression, anxiety, OCD, mental fog, and more, blending traditional and complementary medical care.

Mark Cacciamani, M.D., founder of The Doctor’s Office (the in-office branch of House Call Doctors), emphasizes the impact of mental health challenges: “Stress and depression can greatly interfere with our productivity and enjoyment of life. Thanks to EXOMIND, we can help patients regain emotional wellness—promoting calmness and control—without the burden of medication.”

The EXOMIND treatment works by placing an applicator on the head, which delivers gentle magnetic pulses to either stimulate or suppress targeted brain activity. It targets key brain regions linked to emotional regulation, cognitive function, and self-control.

For optimal results, doctors at the practice recommend two sessions per week over a three-week period. Beyond addressing mood and cognitive concerns, research indicates EXOMIND may also reduce food cravings, with patients reporting associated weight loss.

The Doctor’s Office evolved from House Call Doctors, which initially launched as a mobile/in-home care provider serving elderly, disabled, and underserved populations. In response to patient demand and a clear community need, the practice expanded to open an office-based location, making its comprehensive care accessible to the general public.

A core focus of The Doctor’s Office is “whole-patient care,” which includes prioritizing mental health alongside physical health. Its services combine traditional, evidence-based medical care with a range of medically adjacent offerings, such as aesthetic medicine, talk therapy, hormone replacement therapy, and medication-assisted weight management.

To showcase the new EXOMIND treatment, The Doctor’s Office will host a launch party on September 17.
