Addyson James, a woman from the United States, has shared her remarkable journey from homelessness to marrying a millionaire, drawing comparisons to the iconic film Pretty Woman.
After finishing school, James joined the U.S. Navy because she could not afford to attend university. Following her military service, she was approached by an adult film producer. Seeking a more “exciting” life, she decided to star in X-rated films, earning up to £950 per scene. However, after agency fees, travel, lodging, and other expenses, she was left with less than £300 per month.
Financial struggles worsened when a herniated disc left her unable to work, forcing her to rely on a friend for shelter. A falling out ultimately left her homeless. In a bid to regain stability, James began working at Sheri’s Ranch, a brothel near Las Vegas, where she could stay safely while earning a living.
During her time there, she was contacted online by Jim, 77, a retired engineer who had lost his wife of 40 years. After meeting at the ranch, their relationship quickly grew. Despite a 31-year age difference, the couple discovered they shared many interests.
James revealed that during their early meetings, Jim offered to pay for cosmetic surgery she had wanted and expressed his intention to marry her. “On the first evening I mentioned that I wanted to get my boobs done, and on the second evening he said, ‘I would like to pay for you to get your boobs done,’” she said. Within two months of their first meeting, James and Jim were married in her Arizona home. Jim also bought her a house and a new BMW, helping her transition out of homelessness.
Although James has left escorting, she continues to work in adult films, a career her husband fully supports. She says she enjoys her work and sees it as a way to stay active and fulfilled.
“I’m still in awe of how quickly everything moved, but this man, everything he promised, he’s done. He’s kept his word on everything,” she said.
