Jennifer Lopez is taking her beauty empire to the next level. The multi-hyphenate entertainer and entrepreneur is launching a new addition to her JLo Beauty line: a firming neck serum designed to smooth, hydrate, and strengthen the delicate skin of the neck.
The That Spotlight Silhouette Firming Neck Serum, priced at $69, marks a first for the brand in targeting an area beyond the face and body — an area Lopez says she knows deserves care after decades of performing.
“I use my neck a lot while dancing. I have a very athletic show, and I toured all summer,” Lopez tells PEOPLE exclusively. “As I matured, I realized, ‘Wow, we really have to get something going for the neck here.’”
The serum is formulated to deliver both immediate and long-term results. It combines bioengineered growth factors, amino acids, and peptides to improve elasticity and texture, while additional peptides target firmness and fine lines. Sodium hyaluronate helps maintain hydration, providing a visible transformation, according to Lopez.
“It tackles every major sign of aging on the neck at once,” Lopez says. “It gives visible results instantly and ones that build over time.”
Lopez incorporates the serum into her daily routine, applying it every morning after cleansing and using her face serum. “I massage it upward until it sinks in,” she explains. For extra hydration, she recommends a light moisturizer, followed by sunscreen — a key part of the JLo Beauty ethos.
Beyond skincare, Lopez emphasizes the “finishing touch” of fragrance. “I feel very confident once I’ve got my skincare going, my outfit is right, my makeup is on point, and my glow is glowing, but I need to put that little last finishing touch,” she says.
Reflecting on the five years since launching JLo Beauty, Lopez says the journey has been transformative. “I think of myself five years ago and I’m a totally different person now,” she shares. “JLo Beauty has always been about beauty from the inside out, and I have grown so much. That self-awareness contributes to beauty.”
Looking ahead, Lopez hopes to expand JLo Beauty’s focus on wellness alongside skincare. “The consistency of really working on my skincare routine and on my self-care emotionally and physically has been a game changer,” she says. “That needs to be a bigger part of our brand ethos.”
