Alexa, star of Love Is Blind, is navigating a challenging chapter in her personal life, going through a divorce from husband Brennon Lemieux, but recently shared that she underwent a breast augmentation to lift her spirits.
The couple, who met on the show and legally married, announced their split four years later. They share a daughter, Vienna. While their initial Instagram post announcing the divorce suggested an amicable separation, court documents reveal a more complicated situation. According to records obtained by US Weekly, Brennon filed for divorce in November, citing a “conflict of personalities” that rendered the marriage “insupportable.”
Amid the divorce proceedings, Alexa revealed her recent cosmetic procedure in a TikTok video. “My girls got a little ✨makeover✨,” she said, discussing her breast implants and lift. She noted that recovery has been easier than expected and explained she had been wanting the surgery since finishing breastfeeding her daughter.
“My girls just never sat the same and hung low,” she explained, adding that while she had initially planned to wait until having more children, her “timeline shifted” and she decided “there’s no time like the present.”
Alexa emphasized the importance of doing things that boost personal confidence. “I’m a huge advocate for getting something done if it makes you insecure. You do you. Who cares about anybody else?”
She also touched on the emotional side of her life currently, saying, “Obviously I have a lot going on in my life right now and have been working hard on healing the inside, thank you therapy. But I also wanted to do something for me, on the outside. This is a journey, a place in my life I didn’t necessarily think I would be now. It’s nice to do something for myself.”
