Par Olive, the Australian ingestible wellness brand founded by Olivia Boyd-Smith, has unveiled a new supplement designed to target skin health from within. The company’s Advanced Skin Multivitamin, now available exclusively to Vogue readers for a limited 24-hour launch window, is positioned as a daily nutritional solution to help address the underlying causes of skin ageing.
Boyd-Smith said the product was developed to become “the retinol of ingestible skincare,” focusing not just on surface appearance but on the biological processes that influence how skin ages. Those processes include oxidative stress, chronic inflammation, collagen loss and declining cellular resilience, according to aesthetic physician and Par Olive medical director Dr Joseph Hkeik.
“Skin health is not just about what we apply topically,” Dr Hkeik said. “It is shaped by how well the skin can protect, repair and renew itself internally. Nutrition, rest and skincare form three pillars of healthy ageing, and this formula was designed around that idea.”
The Advanced Skin Multivitamin combines nine antioxidants and nutrients that have been clinically dosed to support different aspects of skin function. Key ingredients include resveratrol, vitamin C, astaxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, glutathione, nicotinamide, riboflavin and zinc. The blend is intended to help defend against oxidative damage, support collagen and elasticity, strengthen the skin barrier and promote cellular renewal.
Boyd-Smith said each ingredient was selected with input from international skin and longevity specialists and developed under Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) supplement standards. “Resveratrol targets oxidative stress, astaxanthin supports elasticity, vitamin C enhances brightness, glutathione neutralises free radicals, and zinc helps balance skin clarity,” she said. “Together, they create a more complete internal foundation for healthy, resilient skin.”
Unlike traditional multivitamins that are formulated for general wellbeing, Dr Hkeik noted that this product is designed specifically around skin needs, with ingredient levels tailored accordingly. “Most multivitamins include skin-related nutrients at low doses, which limits their effect,” he said. “By keeping the complexion as the primary focus, this formula can support skin health in a more meaningful way.”
The recommended dosage is two capsules per day taken with food. Par Olive also suggests pairing the multivitamin with its Marine Collagen Superpowder to provide additional structural support for the skin, citing growing scientific evidence around collagen supplementation.
According to Dr Hkeik, early benefits are more functional than cosmetic. “People often notice better hydration, reduced sensitivity and skin that feels more balanced in the first few weeks,” he said. “With consistent use, improvements in clarity, brightness and overall skin quality tend to follow as cellular renewal and collagen-supporting processes are enhanced.”
While the product is not positioned as a quick fix, Par Olive argues that long-term, consistent nutritional support can help the skin respond better to treatments and recover more effectively from daily stressors. “Prevention is the most intelligent approach to skin health and longevity,” Boyd-Smith said, “and that starts from within.”
