Amy Childs has unveiled the results of her recent tummy firming treatment, addressing loose skin that left her feeling self-conscious following multiple pregnancies and stress-related weight loss.
The 35-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star shared that her body confidence took a hit after welcoming four children and experiencing a period of rapid weight loss. While she was advised that a surgical tummy tuck could be an option, she opted for a non-surgical alternative that required no downtime.
Childs chose the 3D ReFirm treatment, which combines muscle stimulation and skin-tightening technology in 30-minute sessions. The results, she says, have been transformative. Posing in a grey sports bra for before-and-after photos, she described the experience as life-changing: “I finally feel like me again. This treatment is incredible,” she said.
The treatment program included 3D Powersculpt, which uses electromagnetic muscle stimulation to replicate thousands of crunches in a single session, and 3D Dermaforce, a combination of microneedling and radiofrequency designed to boost collagen production and improve skin firmness. After completing several weeks of sessions, Childs felt confident enough to cancel plans for surgery.
Childs added that the treatment has helped her regain confidence in wearing swimwear and return to television work feeling comfortable in her own skin. She has also been working with a personal coach to rebuild muscle and manage her nutrition, particularly around the festive period, after losing muscle mass during her previous weight loss journey.
The star, a mother to four children—Polly, eight; Ritchie, seven; and twins Billy and Millie, two—recently opened up about the stress-related weight loss and its impact on her health and family life. Despite the challenges, she said she is starting to feel happier and more in control of her body and nutrition.
In addition to her physical transformation, Childs has faced personal challenges, including her brother Billy being involved in a serious car accident and concerns over her mother’s health. She acknowledged the toll of stress on her weight and wellbeing, stating, “People think I’m not eating, but I do. The weight loss has been a result of pure stress. There’s so much going on, but I’m strong.”
