The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) is expanding access to mental health services for military families in the Pacific, with new clinics planned for Japan, Okinawa, and South Korea.
The Cohen Veterans Network (CVN) clinics are set to open in fall 2026 at Camp Foster in Okinawa and U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys in South Korea. Additional locations will include Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Yokota Air Base in Japan, and Osan Air Base in South Korea.
“Taking care of military families is at the heart of the Exchange’s mission,” said AAFES Director and CEO Tom Shull. “These clinics in the Pacific Region provide convenient access to critical mental health care and expertise for military families stationed overseas.”
The clinics will serve military families, retirees, veterans, and Department of War civilians and retirees.
U.S.-licensed clinicians will offer evidence-based treatment for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment issues, anger management, grief, family and relationship challenges, military transition, and children’s behavioral problems. Therapy options will include individual, couples, family, and group sessions, available in-person or via CVN Telehealth video appointments.
Cohen Clinics will accept all TRICARE plans and, when applicable, Federal Employees Health Benefits plans.
