World Boating Day (WBD) returns this May with an expanded programme aimed at making boating accessible to everyone—from curious newcomers to seasoned enthusiasts.
Across 19 countries, a wide variety of organisations, companies, and communities will host events designed to bring life on the water to the public.
Activities include behind-the-scenes shipyard tours, exhilarating sailing experiences, exhibitions, lively networking opportunities, and hands-on family-friendly events.
In Spain, the Balearic Marine Cluster is partnering with Astilleros de Mallorca, STP Shipyard Palma, and Club de Mar Mallorca to deliver a diverse programme across the Balearic Islands.
Attendees will enjoy guided shipyard tours, sailing activations, workshops, and cultural events, providing unique insight into both the technical and social sides of boating.
With events like these, World Boating Day 2026 is set to reach more people than ever, celebrating the joy, adventure, and community found on the water.
