Harry Styles finally addressed one of the internet’s longest-running rumors—his supposed baldness—during a playful interview on Brittany Broski’s Royal Court on Wednesday, February 25.
When Broski asked whether his teeth were fake, Styles responded simply, “No.” But he quickly added with a grin, “This hairline, though…,” sending the host into laughter. The comment alluded to years of online speculation suggesting the 32-year-old singer might have undergone a hair transplant or wears a wig—a theory that first gained traction four years ago following a DeuxMoi blind item describing an “A-list musician / occasional actor” as “almost completely bald” and sporting a convincing wig. Fans quickly speculated that the post referred to Styles.
This isn’t Styles’ first response to the rumors. In a 2022 Rolling Stone interview, he revealed that collaborator Kid Harpoon was amused by the ongoing discussion. “He won’t stop sending me messages about [people] trying to work out if I’m bald,” Styles said. Addressing the speculation himself, he added lightheartedly, “What is it with baldness? It skips a generation or something, right? If your granddad’s bald, then you’ll be bald? Well, my granddad wasn’t bald, so fingers crossed.”
Styles also poked fun at his past fashion choices. Recalling his style in the 2010s, he admitted, “I wore like really, really tight jeans. And I know it was of the time, but I think they were tighter than my legs were.” Broski joked, “Painted on,” prompting Styles to laugh and reflect, “Now I’d be like, just wear a size bigger… or three sizes bigger.”
