Indianapolis Radio Host Jason Hammer Announces Hair Restoration Treatment at Local Clinic

by Shreeya

Indianapolis radio personality Jason Hammer has announced that he will undergo hair restoration treatment at We Grow Hair Indy, citing the demands of his frequent on-camera appearances. Hammer, who co-hosts The Hammer and Nigel Show on 93.1 WIBC, shared the decision during a recent segment of 13 Inside Track.

Hammer said his regular presence on television, cable news, and daily YouTube streams influenced his choice to pursue treatment. “I do a lot of TV appearances, cable news hits. I’m on YouTube streams every day doing the radio show, so I’m ready for a little help here,” he said.

He joins a growing list of Indianapolis-based athletes, television personalities, and radio hosts who have sought hair restoration services at the local clinic.

Treatment Plan Targets Hairline and Crown Thinning

According to Darren Andrews, clinic director at We Grow Hair Indy, Hammer’s treatment will focus on two areas: a receding hairline and thinning at the crown. Each area requires a different approach, and after evaluation, the clinic recommended multi-unit hair grafting.

Andrews explained that the procedure allows for maximum hair density and coverage in a single session while maintaining a natural look. “The hairline you saw the Sharpie marked out on the forehead—that’s the hairline that we’re going to lower,” Andrews said. “That’s the hairline design that we’ve already marked out to give an idea of what we’re going to do.”

While the clinic also offers robotic hair restoration and hair loss prevention services, Andrews said multi-unit hair grafting was the most suitable option for Hammer’s specific needs.

Clinic Director Shares Long-Term Results

Andrews also shared his personal experience with the procedure, noting that he underwent multi-unit hair grafting 20 years ago in his early 30s and has required only one treatment. “I’ve had one procedure—permanent natural results,” he said.

He added that patients typically begin to see new hair growth within three to four months, making the treatment timeline appealing for those hoping for visible results by spring or summer.

Hair Restoration Options in Indianapolis

We Grow Hair Indy offers a range of hair restoration services, including traditional hair transplantation, robotic procedures, and preventive treatments for hair loss. The clinic provides free evaluations, available both in person and through virtual consultations.

Hammer’s announcement highlights a growing openness among media personalities to discuss hair restoration and cosmetic treatments publicly, as well as increasing interest in local, long-term solutions for hair loss.
