Heated Rivalry Star Hudson Williams Turns to iS Clinical for a Streamlined Golden Globes Skin Care Routine

Hudson Williams may play a rough-around-the-edges hockey player in Heated Rivalry, but off-screen, the 24-year-old actor takes a far more refined approach to grooming. Despite his character’s no-frills look, Williams revealed in a recent interview with The Cut that his personal skincare habits are anything but minimal, involving a 15-product lineup, twice-daily showers, gua sha, and even a $329 microcurrent device.

For his first appearance at the Golden Globe Awards, however, Williams opted for a pared-down, “game-day” skincare routine rather than his usual full regimen. The streamlined approach centered on five products from Los Angeles–based skincare brand iS Clinical, a label frequently recommended by Men’s Health editors.

Celebrity groomer Aika Flores relied exclusively on iS Clinical to prep Williams’ skin for the red carpet, aiming for what she described as a “hydrated, fresh, naturally radiant” finish. According to Men’s Health Grooming Director Brian Underwood, the brand has earned its reputation for delivering visible results while remaining practical enough for everyday use.

Flores began the routine with iS Clinical’s Cleansing Complex to remove sweat and surface buildup. She then applied the Copper Firming Mist to deliver quick hydration, followed by the vitamin C–rich Pro-Heal Serum Advance+ to brighten the complexion. The Hydra-Cool Serum was layered on next to soothe and calm the skin, before finishing with the Daily Dynamic Hydrator to seal in moisture and create a smooth, camera-ready appearance.

While the products used in Williams’ Golden Globes routine come at a premium price—most retailing above $100—Underwood says the performance justifies the cost. He notes that iS Clinical’s Cleansing Complex has been a staple in his own routine for years, praising it as a gentle gel cleanser that foams lightly without stripping the skin, making it especially suitable for sensitive or dry skin types.

Underwood also highlights the Daily Dynamic Hydrator as a standout product, calling it an effective everyday moisturizer that combines deep hydration with anti-aging ingredients such as vitamin C and peptides. “It hydrates so well you almost forget it’s also loaded with active ingredients,” he says, adding that regular use leaves skin looking more refreshed and awake.

With Williams trusting the brand for one of Hollywood’s biggest nights and Men’s Health editors backing its effectiveness, iS Clinical’s lineup continues to cement its status as a go-to choice for results-driven skincare—red carpet or not.
