‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jasmine Pineda Opens Up About Her Alopecia Journey and Empowering Decision to Shave Her Head

Several familiar faces from the 90 Day Fiancé universe are preparing to reenter the dating world as TLC officially unveils the cast of 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5, set to premiere on February 9.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively confirmed that eight returning franchise alumni will take part in the upcoming season, documenting their renewed attempts at romance after highly publicized breakups. The series continues to explore the emotional highs and setbacks of dating after reality-TV relationships unravel.

Among those returning is Gino, who openly shares his eagerness to move on from past heartbreak. In the season’s newly released trailer, he jokes about seeking “young, beautiful single ladies,” signaling a fresh — and possibly chaotic — chapter ahead. Notably absent from the lineup, at least for now, is his former partner Jasmine Pineda.

The season also follows 26-year-old Sophie as she embarks on a girls’ trip to the Dominican Republic alongside fellow cast members Julia and Liz. While there, Sophie unexpectedly connects with Pedro, best known from The Family Chantel. Pedro finalized his divorce from Chantel Everett in 2022, and Sophie acknowledges his controversial reputation as their relationship begins to intensify.

“Before Pedro and I started talking, I didn’t really know what happened between him and Chantel,” Sophie says in the preview. “I just know he doesn’t have the best reputation.”

Other storylines promise equally dramatic turns. Colt and Cortney, who previously connected on 90 Day: Hunt for Love, attempt to build something deeper — though trust issues quickly surface. Colt admits a pattern of infidelity in past relationships, while Cortney confesses she senses he may be keeping secrets.

The season will also spotlight Liz as she embraces life following a stage one ovarian cancer diagnosis last year, offering viewers a more personal and resilient side of her journey. Meanwhile, Vanja explores a potential romance with her longtime friend Tony, and Kim reveals a deeply personal secret she says contradicts the authenticity she preaches.

“I talk about being genuine,” Kim says in the trailer. “But I’ve been living a lie.”

In addition to the main series, TLC will debut a companion show titled 90 Day: The Single Life — Between the Sheets, airing immediately after each episode. The spinoff will feature cast members, former partners, and loved ones sharing behind-the-scenes insights, candid reactions, and previously unseen drama.

90 Day: The Single Life Season 5 premieres Monday, February 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC, continuing the franchise’s exploration of love, loss, and second chances under the reality-TV spotlight.
