On the latest episode of MBC’s variety show Extreme 84, Kian84 candidly addressed concerns about his hair appearance while taking on the grueling Medoc Marathon.
Airing on the 28th, the episode showcased Kian84 pushing through 25 kilometers under the scorching sun, focusing intently on completing the race while fellow cast member Kwon Hwa-woon enjoyed the event more leisurely. By the end of the challenge, Kian84’s skin had turned bright red from prolonged sun exposure. He humorously remarked, “I’ve heard a lot that I looked older after returning. The UV rays that make grapes taste good have been ‘cooking’ my face.”
During the studio segment, Kian84 addressed his hair, explaining, “I drew my hair and thinned it out, but I messed up the thinning, making my hair look quite sparse.”
Lee Eun-ji questioned whether Kian84 was trying to highlight that he didn’t have hair loss. He clarified, “At home, I also thinned my hair a lot for this marathon, inspired by Won Bin’s style. It looked very sparse, so I thought I should explain.”
Kwak Beom jokingly responded, “You’re just drawing attention to it by talking about it,” which drew laughter from the cast and audience.
