Prestige Men’s Health Clinic in Holladay, Utah, is receiving growing attention for its patient-first approach to erectile dysfunction (ED) and low testosterone (Low T). Founder Dr. Joshua Schmidt opened the clinic with one goal: to create an affordable, judgment-free place where men could get real help for sensitive health concerns.
“I realized there was a clear need in men’s health,” Schmidt said. “Many men avoid treatment because they feel embarrassed. I wanted to offer a space where they could speak openly and get honest answers about ED and Low T.”
Schmidt trained extensively in general surgery and urology, but later decided to focus only on men’s health. He said the field has been “overlooked for too long, even though many men struggle with these issues.” In 2016, he expanded his services by offering free consultations to patients in Utah, Colorado, and across the Rocky Mountain region.
He believes that testosterone replacement therapy is often misunderstood. “People think of steroids, but most men just want to improve their daily well-being,” he said. When treatment is carefully monitored, many patients report better sleep, more energy, an improved mood, and a healthier libido. Schmidt said that partners often notice these changes as well.
Schmidt designed the clinic to feel comfortable and easy to navigate. “We keep everything simple and stress-free,” he said. “There are no sales pitches and no commissions. We only talk about therapies that may help patients feel better.”
This straightforward approach has helped the clinic grow quickly. A small patient base has expanded to more than 2,000 men each month, with most new patients arriving through referrals.
“If you treat patients well, they tell others,” Schmidt said. “That’s the kind of growth that really matters.”
He added that many men delay seeking help. “They know something is wrong but wait for the ‘right time.’ Blood flow and hormone levels naturally decline with age, so early care can make a big difference.”
Schmidt believes the clinic’s focus on affordability, careful follow-ups, and supportive care is helping men throughout the region take control of their health.
“Men just want to feel like themselves again,” he said. “That’s what we aim to help them do.”
