Planet Fitness is set to open a new gym in Timonium, Maryland, marking another significant expansion in the state. The new facility, located at 2301 York Road, is currently under construction and is expected to open its doors in November 2025.
This addition will be the 14th Planet Fitness club in the Baltimore area and the 40th in the Maryland-D.C. market, operated by Ohana Growth Partners (OGP), a prominent franchisee of Planet Fitness.

The 17,642-square-foot Timonium location will feature a comprehensive range of amenities designed to cater to fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Members can expect best-in-class strength and cardio equipment, numerous flat-screen televisions, and clean locker rooms.
A standout feature for PF Black Card® members will be the exclusive Black Card Spa®, offering additional relaxation options. All memberships include free fitness training, ensuring that every member receives guidance and support in their fitness journey.
Membership Options and Pre-Opening Specials
Planet Fitness offers two primary membership tiers: the Classic membership at $15 per month and the PF Black Card® membership at $19.99 per month. The PF Black Card® provides added benefits, including the ability to bring a guest every day at no additional charge, access to all 2,700+ Planet Fitness locations nationwide, and exclusive access to the Black Card Spa®. Starting October 1, online pre-registration will be available, allowing prospective members to sign up early and take advantage of introductory specials before the official opening.
