Subaru has revealed a new special edition of its iconic WRX, but only Australian buyers will have the chance to own it. The 2026 Subaru WRX AWD Club Spec Evo celebrates the delivery of the 60,000th WRX in Australia and will be produced in a strictly limited run of 75 units.
Built on the WRX AWD tS Spec B platform, the Club Spec Evo includes enhancements aimed at “driving purists,” according to Subaru. The model is available exclusively in Sunrise Yellow, making it instantly distinguishable from other WRX variants.
Exclusive touches extend beyond the paint. The Club Spec Evo features Club Spec Evo decals on the rear doors, 19-inch matte black wheels, and a pair of Recaro bucket seats wrapped in Ultrasuede with leather-look accents. Yellow and black seat trim, yellow contrast stitching, and a numbered Club Spec Evo interior logo complete the cabin updates, with matching yellow stitching on the door cards, center console, and dashboard panel.
Under the hood, the WRX AWD Club Spec Evo retains the familiar 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer engine delivering 202 kW (275 metric horsepower/271 bhp). Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission paired with Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. The limited edition also includes Drive Mode Select for enhanced performance and handling.
Each of the 75 units is priced at AU$63,190 (US$45,215), slightly above the WRX AWD tS Spec B manual variant. By comparison, the automatic WRX AWD tS Spec B starts at AU$62,190 (US$44,500). Lower WRX trims, including the RS Sedan and base models, are priced between AU$48,890 (US$34,985) and AU$56,690 (US$40,565), while Sportswagon versions range from AU$58,490 (US$41,850) to AU$63,990 (US$45,785). All prices include GST but exclude dealer delivery charges and additional fees.
Subaru Australia has officially opened the order book for the WRX AWD Club Spec Evo, giving enthusiasts a rare opportunity to own this limited-edition performance sedan.
