Kenyan content creator Tileh Pacbro is experiencing notable progress six months after undergoing a hair transplant, with his doctor reporting encouraging signs of recovery and hair growth.
In an update shared via TikTok on Thursday, February 26, 2026, the specialist said Tileh has reached a stage where he can comfortably rub and comb his hair—an early indicator that the transplanted follicles have successfully taken root.
The doctor described the change as a visible transformation, noting that the new hairline already appears natural and well integrated.
“Today we have Tileh here, six months after the procedure, and he can now rub and even comb his hair. It’s an amazing transformation,” the specialist said in the video.
According to the medic, the objective of a hair transplant extends beyond simply relocating hair follicles. The ultimate goal, he explained, is to achieve a natural-looking result that blends seamlessly with existing hair.
“Hair transplant is about achieving naturalness, not just planting hair. You have to look very natural after the process,” he added.
The doctor also highlighted the importance of preserving the donor area—the section of the scalp from which follicles are harvested. In Tileh’s case, the donor region remains healthy, with continued normal hair growth.
He confirmed that the procedure followed strict medical protocols, including avoiding overharvesting, a practice that can damage the donor site and compromise outcomes.
“The hairline is very good, and the donor area, where we removed the hair, has remained the same. Hair is still growing there very well and naturally. The donor area protocol was observed carefully, and there was no overharvesting,” he said.
Medical experts consider a strong donor area essential for a successful transplant, as it supports both immediate results and long-term hair density.
While Tileh’s progress at the six-month mark is promising, the doctor noted that the transplant has not yet reached full maturity. Final results are typically expected between eight months and one year after the procedure, when the transplanted hair becomes thicker and fully established.
“For a successful hair transplant, you require a very good donor area. Full maturity will be in about eight months to one year, and that is when it will be fully grown,” he explained.
