Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith has addressed ongoing speculation about alleged cosmetic procedures, firmly denying that she has undergone plastic surgery.
In a report aired on 24 Oras on Tuesday, February 24, Curtis-Smith clarified that while she has no objections to others choosing to enhance their appearance, it is not something she has pursued herself.
“I have nothing against it, but I have never done it,” she said.
The actress specifically refuted claims that she had work done around her eyes, emphasizing that they are one of her favorite features. She explained that recent changes in her appearance were due to swelling from emotional distress rather than any surgical procedure.
“I have never done plastic surgery, especially around my eyes. I love my eyes—they’re actually my favorite feature on my face, so I wouldn’t touch them,” she said, adding, “My eyes were just swollen from crying.”
Curtis-Smith also noted that she would be transparent if she ever decided to undergo cosmetic enhancements in the future, acknowledging that such procedures have become more common today.
“If ever there’s something I choose to change, I wouldn’t lie about it if asked. It’s the modern day and people are getting it done. It’s just not for me—for now, at least,” she explained.
The actress recently shared that she is still grieving the loss of her father, James Curtis-Smith, who passed away on January 7.
Amid this personal period, Curtis-Smith continues her professional commitments and has been announced as one of the celebrity participants in Stars on the Floor 2026. The program airs every Sunday at 7:15 p.m. on GMA, Kapuso Stream, and GMA Pinoy TV.
