Influencer Katie Anderson Shares Three-Month Facelift Update, Says Decision Was ‘Personal’

by Shreeya

Social media influencer Katie Anderson is opening up about the results of her recent cosmetic procedures, telling followers she is pleased with her decision to undergo a second facelift and neck lift.

In an Instagram post shared Monday, Feb. 16, the 48-year-old content creator provided a “three months post-op update,” revealing what she described as a smoother appearance and an improved sense of confidence following the surgeries.

The video began with footage recorded before the procedure, showing Anderson makeup-free as she displayed her face and neck while mouthing lyrics from Tate McRae’s 2025 song “Sports Car.” The clip then transitioned to a post-surgery reveal, with Anderson smiling from a chair, wearing soft pink blush and lipstick as the camera pulled back to show the results.

“3 months post-op and still so glad I did this. A personal choice, for me and only me — and I’m happy I shared the journey with you,” Anderson wrote to her 3.3 million Instagram followers.

Thanking Her Surgeon

Anderson also expressed gratitude to her plastic surgeon, Dr. Jonathan Zelken, praising his care and communication throughout the process.

“He listened, he was honest, he answered any and all questions I had and he cared,” she wrote, adding hashtags including #beforeandafter, #necklift, and #facelift.

The influencer is widely known for sharing videos of her family life with her husband, physician Charles Stauffer, and their seven children, content that has helped her build a large online following.

A Second Attempt After Earlier Setback

Anderson first disclosed news of the second facelift on Nov. 30, 2025, explaining that her initial procedure “didn’t go as planned.” At the time, she documented the experience in detail, posting footage taken before surgery as well as images of her recovery, including scenes of her in a hospital bed with surgical markings on her face and later wearing bandages with visible swelling.

She continued to share daily updates during the first two weeks of healing, offering followers an unfiltered look at the recovery process.

“Like they say you’re not ugly, I just had a facelift … well actually two of them!!” she captioned one post. “Again, I’m not saying anybody needs to do this. I did it for me and I just wanted to be transparent.”

Anderson added that after the unsuccessful first procedure, she felt reassured by her choice of surgeon the second time. “I feel so amazing and I still have a lot of healing to do,” she wrote, while also urging followers to “be kind” as she recovered.

A Longer Journey of Personal Change

In October 2025, Anderson reflected more broadly on what she described as a three-year journey focused on self-improvement and personal well-being.

“Who am I trying to impress? Me,” she wrote in an earlier Instagram post. “For over two years, I’ve held onto the results … stronger, healthier, and still showing up for myself. Because this was never about anyone else.”

By continuing to document her experience, Anderson has positioned her cosmetic surgery journey as part of a larger narrative about personal choice, transparency, and aging in the public eye.
