Netflix’s Love Is Blind stars Jimmy Presnell and Devin Buckley have both undergone hair transplants, investing significant sums to restore their hair. While their experiences differ, one clearly spent more — and the results speak for themselves.
Jimmy Presnell: $11,000 in the U.S.
Jimmy Presnell underwent a hair transplant just over a year ago, transforming his appearance in the process. The reality star shared details about his decision on TikTok, explaining why he chose to have the procedure done in the United States rather than abroad.
“I decided to stay in the states for my procedure, which typically is a little bit more expensive,” Presnell said. “But there’s a lot of things that come with that, and I’ll explain that as well.”
He opted for Solve Clinics in Chicago, which charges approximately $5 per hair graft. Presnell had over 2,100 grafts, bringing the total cost to around $11,000.
He further explained the reasoning behind choosing a U.S. clinic over overseas options like Turkey. “When I was going through the evaluation process, I was getting quotes anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000, which included flights and hotels. But there was no ongoing consultation or communication with your surgeon — they just send you home after surgery. You don’t really have any relationship with them.”
To enhance his results, Presnell also underwent platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, costing between $400 and $600 per session. Altogether, his hair restoration journey amounted to nearly $11,000.
Devin Buckley: Up to $7,000 in Turkey
Devin Buckley opted for a hair transplant in August 2025 at Vita Clinic in Turkey, where procedures range from $1,500 to $7,000 depending on the technique.
Buckley shared that his hair thinning had been a concern for four to five years, particularly as he prepared to appear on Love Is Blind. “I was worried that if I got on the show, the women I interact with would notice my hair thinning,” he said.
Before the transplant, Buckley relied on spray-on hair fibers to conceal his thinning hair, particularly along his hairline and crown. His six-hour procedure in Turkey was followed by a “shedding” or “shock” phase, where transplanted hairs temporarily fall out — a normal part of recovery. Buckley shared updates two months post-procedure, noting that hair growth would resume around month three and continue through month twelve.
While Vita Clinic lists $7,000 as its highest cost, Buckley’s videos with the clinic suggest he may have received a discount or had the procedure at no cost.
Who Paid More?
Regardless of the exact figure for Buckley, it’s clear that Presnell’s U.S.-based procedure made him the bigger spender. One year later, Presnell’s results appear striking, highlighting the impact of investing in a comprehensive hair restoration process.
