Justin Bieber became an unexpected target of online humor after low-cost airline Ryanair poked fun at his appearance following the Grammys red carpet.
The moment began when a social media user shared two close-up photos of the “Swag” singer at the Grammys, one tightly focused on his hairline. The post quickly gained traction, prompting speculation from commenters about whether Bieber may have undergone a hair restoration procedure.
“I can recognize a poorly done hair transplant from a mile away,” one user wrote.
Ryanair joined the conversation by quote-tweeting the post with the remark, “should’ve gone to Turkey,” a reference to the country’s global reputation as a destination for hair transplant tourism. The airline’s comment quickly circulated, adding to the viral exchange.
Bieber, 31, has never publicly confirmed undergoing any hair restoration or cosmetic procedures.
The Irish airline is well known for its irreverent social media presence and has frequently used its official account to comment on pop culture moments, celebrities, and even its own passengers. In recent weeks, Ryanair also shared a meme featuring Bad Bunny’s widely circulated reaction after winning Album of the Year, captioning it, “passengers the minute the plane lands.”
In another post, the airline humorously repurposed a photo shared by Steve Harvey, showing the television host in a black suit, leather pants, and a camel-colored trench coat, captioning it, “how priority passengers act.”
Bieber himself made headlines at the Grammys for his unconventional performance of “Yukon,” during which he appeared onstage wearing only boxers and socks. Ryanair has not commented on that performance, and whether it will add the moment to its growing collection of pop culture jokes remains to be seen.
