Bridget Bahl is marking a powerful milestone in her ongoing battle with breast cancer.
More than a year after her diagnosis, the fashion and lifestyle influencer shared an emotional Instagram Reel on Tuesday, Jan. 20, capturing the moment she rang the ceremonial bell alongside her medical team and her husband, Michael Chiodo. The video, which symbolized a major step forward in her treatment, included the on-screen message: “It’s a bad day to be cancer.” Bahl, 42, revealed in the caption that she has “only 2 treatments left to go.”
Reflecting on the journey, Bahl wrote candidly about how her faith sustained her through surgery and chemotherapy. “There is no version of me that leaves this season the same. I take this next step. Marked. Humbled. Scared. Scarred. Grateful,” she shared.
She also opened up about the profound perspective the past year has given her. “This past year has made me painfully aware of how fragile life really is. How precious each day is. How sacred it is to still be here,” Bahl wrote. “And the hard truth that not everyone gets this moment. Not everyone gets to ring the bell. And the weight of how unfair that feels.”
Bahl first announced her diagnosis to her 1.8 million Instagram followers in September 2024, explaining that doctors discovered the cancer while she was preparing for her sixth IVF egg retrieval.
In her latest post, she said she was still struggling to fully put her gratitude into words, but she thanked “every single doctor, nurse, and staff member who carried me to this point,” as well as her “incredible community” of supporters.
“Every prayer, every message, every moment of love carried me through the hardest season of my life. You gave me hope on the darkest days,” she wrote. “And somehow, some way, I will get to pay that forward.”
Bahl has consistently kept her followers informed throughout her cancer journey. In August 2025, she documented surgery to remove four lymph nodes from her breast. Two months later, she shared videos marking the completion of her 15-day radiation treatment.
“We f—— did it,” Bahl said in one celebratory clip after finishing radiation. “It took every piece of me, but I did it.”
As she approaches the final stages of treatment, Bahl’s message continues to resonate with fans, offering a mix of vulnerability, gratitude and hope.
