Alix Earle, host of Hot Mess, has shared a heartfelt update about her mother, Alisa Earle, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
In a video posted to Instagram and TikTok on January 11, Alix celebrated her mother’s strength, captioning the post: “Go momma! So proud and inspired by you. No challenge you can’t face and come back stronger. I love you! #breastcancerawareness.”
The clip, which prominently features the message “f–k cancer,” shows Alix and her sister, Ashtin Earle, by their mother’s side, helping with her hair and holding her hand. Alisa shares both daughters with her ex-husband, Thomas “TJ” Earle.
Alix revealed in the TikTok comments that the family learned of Alisa’s diagnosis “halfway through the season” of Dancing With the Stars, where Alix recently competed. Despite the news, Alisa “still showed up every week” to support her daughter.
Fans and fellow celebrities have flooded social media with messages of support. Paris Hilton wrote, “Sending love and prayers for your mom sis,” while Heidi Montag added, “Praying for you, your family, and especially your mama.”
In prior posts, Alix hinted at her mother’s health challenges, noting that Alisa had undergone surgery and was hospitalized. “Back home in Jersey,” Alix shared in a TikTok video. “I may or may not talk more about this this week. I just want to see how everything goes and, first of all, just be there for her.”
She added that her travels had been emotionally difficult. “It’s also something that, during my travels, I had a few cries. But her boyfriend and my sister have been with her this morning,” Alix said. “So, we’re gonna be picking her up tomorrow morning from the hospital because we are gonna be taking care of her.”
Alix’s candid update highlights the Earles’ close family bond and has resonated with fans, who continue to send love and encouragement during this challenging time.
