Kylie Jenner has undergone a remarkable transformation since her teenage years, with one of the most noticeable changes being her facial appearance. Side-by-side photos comparing Jenner from the mid-2010s to 2025 show a dramatic evolution, though she has been candid about the enhancements she has made—most notably, her lips.
“I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it,” Jenner told Homme Girls in May 2023, reflecting on the procedure that became a defining feature of her look.
Her iconic lips not only transformed her appearance but also inspired her career trajectory. As a teenager, Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics, starting with her signature lip kits before expanding into products like blushes and body mists. The emphasis on fuller lips helped establish her brand and played a key role in her rise as a beauty mogul.
While Jenner has experimented with makeup over the years, she credits it—alongside hair styling and selective fillers—for much of her transformation. “[People] don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do,” she told PAPER in February 2019, underscoring the influence of artistry over surgery.
Despite widespread speculation, Jenner has consistently denied undergoing full facial reconstruction. “People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false,” she explained. She acknowledges having fillers and lip enhancements, which have helped set trends in the beauty industry, but maintains that her overall confidence has not stemmed from major surgery. “I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t!” she told Homme Girls.
However, Jenner has shared one cosmetic decision she wishes she had handled differently: her breast augmentation. She had the procedure at 19, before having children, and has since expressed regret over the timing. “I wish I never got them done to begin with,” she told People. “[I] recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.”
Overall, Jenner appears satisfied with the majority of her facial enhancements, viewing them as tools that complemented her natural features and boosted her confidence—while leaving only one procedural regret in her past.
